Dead Simple Budget Privacy Policy

Overview

This policy explains how Dead Simple Budget handles information when you use the app. We do not collect personal information or budget data from the app. Apple handles purchases and subscription verification through the App Store.

Budget Data on Your Device

The budget information you enter, such as income, bills, and savings, is stored locally on your device. We do not receive this information, upload it to our servers, or share it with third parties.

No Analytics, Advertising, or Tracking

We do not collect app usage data, device information, or identifiers from the app. We do not use analytics tools, advertising networks, or tracking technologies in Dead Simple Budget, and we do not sell your information.

Apple Purchases and Subscription Verification

Apple processes payments and manages subscriptions through your Apple Account. The app uses subscription-status information provided by Apple to determine whether you have access to subscribed features. We do not collect or retain this information on our own servers and do not have access to your payment card details.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Data Retention and Deletion

Because we do not collect your app or budget data, we hold no copy of that data to retain or delete. Data saved locally remains on your device until you remove it. Deleting the app removes its local app data from that device; copies in device backups, if any, are managed through your device and Apple backup settings.

We cannot delete purchase records held by Apple. Questions about Apple's data retention or deletion should be directed to Apple.

Contacting Support

If you choose to email support, we receive your email address and whatever information you include so we can respond to your request. This is separate from data collection by the app. Please do not send sensitive budget or payment information. You may contact us to request deletion of support correspondence, subject to any applicable retention obligations.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
